Buffalo Chicken Dip

This Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe from Frank’s Red Hot is my go to camping snack! The warm, cheesy dip is a perfect dish to set out for hungry campers and serve with chips or veggies, plus it is very easy make and could be made ahead of time and kept in the fridge or cooler until ready to put on the grill.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked and shredded or chopped chicken
  • 1 package cream cheese 8 oz.
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup Franks Red Hot sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or blue cheese crumbles
  • small disposable aluminum pan for the grill

Make the Dip:

  • mix together the chicken, cream cheese, ranch dressing, and hot sauce in a bowl
  • spread out into aluminum pan
  • top with cheese

All that’s left to do is toss it on the grill for about 15 minutes then serve with chips, celery, or any veggies or crackers you prefer.

I found these Summer Star chips that are great for any summer camping trip or cookout, so I grabbed a few bags to have on hand. I also like to serve this dip with fresh celery sticks or wheat thin crackers.

This tasty snack is one of our family’s favorites, I love that it can be made ahead of time and just stored in the fridge then I can just warm it up…doesn’t get any easier than that!! I made a batch at home in a small baking dish but prefer to use an aluminum foil pan when we are camping as it is much easier to clean up.
