Kid’s Camping Adventure Vest

Camping with kids gives them great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and all the fun activities they can do. Every time we go to a campground we like to get a little keepsake, a patch, a pin, a fun trinket, whatever so the kids have something to remember their visit by. Here is a fun idea to put all of those keepsakes to use with an Adventure Vest. I sewed the patches on the back of the vest and put all their pins on the front. Even when they outgrow the vest the kids will have something to keep and remember all their camping adventures with.

A camping trip would not be complete without a visit to the camp store and we always like to get a few keepsakes from each park we visit. I like to get a magnet for the camper fridge, a sticker for my kayak, and the kids get pins and patches…as well as fun little toys and trinkets of course.

These cute vests for kids came with all kinds of explorer tools like magnifying glass, bug catcher, binoculars, compass, whistle, a hat and a bag. I got the idea to attached their patches and pins so they could wear them on a hike or when participating in a camp nature center activity.
